Print On Demand Manufacturing ("we", "us"), online at printondemandmanufacturing.com, is a production platform: brands connect their online stores to us, design products, and we manufacture and ship those products when their customers order them. This policy explains what information passes through our hands in that work, why, and what happens to it.

Information we handle, and why

  • Account information. Your name, email address, and a password (stored only in scrambled form) when you create an account. Used to sign you in and contact you about your account.
  • Store connection. When a brand connects a Shopify store, we hold an access credential for that store, encrypted at rest. Used solely to publish products, read orders, and update fulfillment for that store.
  • Order information, including customers' shipping details. When a customer buys a connected brand's product, we receive the order's items and the recipient's name, shipping address, and (if provided) phone number. This is the minimum needed to make and deliver the product; we do not pull customer emails, order histories, or browsing data.
  • Designs and files. Artwork and designs uploaded to make products. They are the brand's content; we store and use them only to produce that brand's products.
  • Billing. Production charges run through Stripe. Card numbers are entered on Stripe's pages and stored by Stripe — we never see or hold them. We keep records of invoices and charges.
  • Personalization text. If a product is personalized (a name or number a customer typed at checkout), we receive that text to print it. It lives in the order and its print file only.
  • Technical logs. Ordinary server logs and an audit record of account activity, kept for security. We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in — no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, ever.

Who information is shared with

Only the parties needed to make and deliver products, and never for their own marketing:

  • Production partners. The factory producing an order receives the items, print files, and the recipient's shipping details — because they put the label on the box. Depending on the product, production may occur at partners inside or outside the United States; international partners receive the same minimum shipping details under the same restrictions.
  • Suppliers. Blank-garment suppliers may receive a producing partner's address to deliver materials. They do not receive customer information unless they ship directly to the customer.
  • Service providers. Our infrastructure host (with disk encryption and encrypted backups), Stripe for payments, and Shopify's systems for the stores brands connect.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Customer shipping details are erased automatically 60 days after an order ships (or is cancelled) — long enough to cover returns and reprints, and no longer. Every view of a full shipping address inside our system is logged.

Account information lasts as long as the account. Designs last as long as the brand keeps the products they belong to. Financial records are retained as required by law.

Deletion requests

When a customer asks a connected store to delete their data, or a store disconnects entirely, Shopify sends us formal deletion requests and we honor them by erasing the related personal information from our systems. Brands can also email us directly for deletion of their account or their data.

Security

All traffic to and from our systems is encrypted in transit. Store credentials are additionally encrypted at the application level. Our production database uses encryption at rest with encrypted backups. Staff access is role-restricted, accounts require strong passwords, and access to customer addresses is individually logged. Development and testing happen against separate systems with no real customer data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information. Email privacy@printondemandmanufacturing.com and we will respond. If you are a customer of a brand that uses our platform, the brand is the controller of your information and we act on their instructions — we will loop them in or point you to them as appropriate.

Children

Our platform is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

When this policy changes, we update the date at the top; material changes get called out to account holders. Questions any time: privacy@printondemandmanufacturing.com.
